Policy for Responsible Agricultural Supply Chains

我們意識到農業供應鏈中可能發生重大不利影響的風險,意識到我們尊重人權的責任和促成可持續發展,尤其是減少貧困、實現糧食安全和營養、性別平等的能力,承諾在與商業夥伴簽署的合同和協議中,採取、實施、廣泛傳播和納入以下負責任農業供應鏈政策。我們將在可行的情況下,鼓勵商業夥伴採取本政策,如果商業夥伴造成或促成不利影響,我們將利用自身的影響力,防範或減輕影響。

Recognizingthe risks of significant adverse impacts arising along agricultural supplychains, and recognizing our responsibility to respect human rights and ourcapacity to contribute to sustainable development, and in particular povertyreduction, food security and nutrition, and gender equality, we commit toadopt, implement, widely disseminate and incorporate in contracts andagreements with business partners the following policy for responsibleagricultural supply chains. We will encourage, where practicable, our businesspartners to apply this policy and, if they cause or contribute to adverseimpacts, we will use our leverage to prevent or mitigate these impacts.

影響評估Impact assessment

我們將持續評估並在決策中消除運營、過程、商品和服務整個生命週期中產生的實際和潛在影響,以期避免或者不可避免時減輕不利影響。影響評估應該讓代表性數量的所有相關利益相關方團體參與。

Wewill continuously assess and address in decision-making the actual andpotential impacts of our operations, processes, goods and services over theirfull life-cycle with a view to avoiding or, when unavoidable, mitigating anyadverse impacts. Impact assessments should involve a representative number ofall relevant stakeholder groups.

 

申訴機制Grievance mechanisms

我們將與潛在用戶開展磋商,規定合法、可及、可預測、公平和透明的運營層面申訴機制。我們還將就其他非司法申訴機制開展合作。由於不遵守負責任商業行為標準,我們的運營已經造成或促成不利影響,此時上述申訴機制能夠實現補救。

Wewill provide for legitimate, accessible, predictable, equitable and transparentoperational-level grievance mechanisms in consultation with potential users. Wewill also co-operate in other non-judicial grievance mechanisms. Such grievancemechanisms can enable remediation when our operations have caused orcontributed to adverse impacts due to non-adherence to RBC standards.

Wewill help eliminate discrimination against women, enhance their meaningfulparticipation in decision-making and leadership roles, ensure theirprofessional development and advancement, and facilitate their equal access andcontrol over natural resources, inputs, productive tools, advisory andfinancial services, training, markets and information.

 

2.人權Human rights

在國際公認的人權、我們運營所在國的國際人權義務以及相關國內法律法規的框架內,我們將:

Withinthe framework of internationally recognised human rights, the internationalhuman rights obligations of the countries in which we operate as well asrelevant domestic laws and regulations, we will:

         尊重人權,這意味著避免侵犯他人人權,解決我們所涉的對人權的不利影響。
Respect human rights, which means avoid infringing on the human rights ofothers and address adverse human rights impacts with which we are involved.

Within the context of our own activities, avoid causing or contributing toadverse human rights impacts and address such impacts when they occur.

Seek ways to prevent or mitigate adverse human rights impacts that are directlylinked to our operations, products or services by a business relationship, evenif we did not contribute to those impacts.

Carry out human rights due diligence as appropriate to the size, nature andcontext of our operations and the severity of the risks of adverse human rightsimpacts.

Provide for, or co-operate through legitimate processes in, the remediation ofadverse impacts on human rights when we identify that we have caused orcontributed to these impacts.

Wewill respect international core labor standards in our operations, namely thefreedom of association and the right to collective bargaining, including formigrant workers, the elimination of all forms of forced or compulsory labor,the effective abolition of child labor and the elimination of discrimination inrespect of employment and occupation.

striving to increase employment opportunities, both directly and indirectly
